Over the past 20 years, the estate has gently been restored organically & ecologically, to create a working balance between visiting guests and local wildlife.   It is a gently managed rather than manicured space.

The houses, patios & gardens have been re-built using their original stones, local products & certified wood while no chemicals are used in the gardens - just hard work! 

A rural idyll

Large areas of the grounds are left untouched for much of the year, including the several acres of water meadows and a small private lake located in the bottom half of the finca ( the plan shown is just the top half ) - so there is a wonderful array of resident, seasonal and visiting rarer birds, plants and smaller animals, which are increasing every year.
